The Denver Broncos got back in the win column, handling the Cincinnati Bengals, 28-3, at home on Monday night.

The Broncos and Bengals are now 2-2 through the first four weeks of the season, though the latter isn't looking too hot after yet another brutal offensive performance with backup quarterback Jake Browning at the helm for the injured Joe Burrow.

Browning was just 14-of-25 for 125 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in a performance that came after just 10 points scored in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings this past week – his first filling the starting role for Burrow.

Credit has to go to the Broncos' defense, though, as they were able to sack Browning three times and force nine straight third-down stops against the Bengals to end the season. Cincinnati was just 2-of-11 on third down, with the only two successful ones coming on the opening drive.

Meanwhile, Bo Nix and the Broncos' offense looked good at home on Monday night, as Nix went 29-of-42 for 326 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception.

The Bengals got on the board first with an opening-drive field goal, but it was the Broncos who found the end zone first thanks to Nix taking it himself from six yards out on third-and-5 for a rushing score just before the end of the first quarter.

Nix clearly found the rhythm as the Broncos would follow up that first touchdown with another, this time allowing Marvin Mims' speed to show out with a 16-yard rush on a jet sweep. Courtland Sutton also added a key 22-yard reception on third-and-4 to keep that drive alive before Mims' stellar run.

Sutton would find the end zone himself as well, with Nix firing a dart from 20 yards away for the touchdown with eight seconds left to play in the first half.

Nik Bonitto of the Denver Broncos sacks Jake Browning of the Cincinnati Bengals during the second quarter at Empower Field At Mile High on Sept. 29, 2025 in Denver, Colorado.

A 21-3 lead for the Broncos at halftime could've been worse if Nix wasn't intercepted on fourth-and-1 from the Cincinnati two-yard line with two minutes remaining in the second quarter. But it was a turnover that ultimately didn't hurt the Broncos due to the Bengals' ineptitude on offense.

Star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was even seen going up to head coach Zac Taylor during the second half clearly frustrated as the offense couldn't put anything together.

Denver ended up capping their victory with an easy touchdown for rookie running back R.J. Harvey on a lofted 12-yard connection to make it 28-3.

While Harvey scored, it was veteran running back J.K. Dobbins being the first player to rush for 100 yards or more for the Broncos in the last 38 games, dating back to Latavius Murray in January 2023. He finished with 101 yards on 16 carries.

Sutton finished the game leading the Broncos with 81 receiving yards on five catches, while Mims had six grabs for 69 yards.

Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos scores a touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals during the first quarter in the game at Empower Field At Mile High on Sept. 29, 2025 in Denver, Colorado.

For the Bengals, the Broncos' defense held both Chase and Tee Higgins to a combined eight catches and 55 yards. Cincinnati also had more penalties called on them than first downs, so Taylor must get things in order heading into a game against the hot Detroit Lions next week.

Hamas said Tuesday it will discuss U.S. President Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza within the group and with other Palestinian factions before responding. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has already thrown his support behind it but it's unclear whether Hamas will agree or when it would give its response.

The proposal demands that Hamas effectively surrender and disarm in return for an end to fighting, humanitarian aid for Palestinians and the promise of reconstruction in Gaza — all desperately hoped for by the population in the devastated territory where the death toll in the Israel-Hamas war has topped 66,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.

Meanwhile, backing and support were pouring in for the proposal from the international community. Donald Trump and Netanyahu said after talks Monday in the White House that they had agreed on the plan.

Here's the latest:

Hamas to study Trump's proposal before responding

A senior Hamas official told The that the group's leaders will hold internal discussions as well as talks with other Palestinian factions before they respond to the Trump proposal.

The official added that Hamas received the proposal from the two Mideast mediators — Egypt and Qatar — and "will begin studying it today" with other factions.

There was no indication when Hamas could give its response to the plan. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the media.

India's Modi says Trump's plan is a 'viable pathway' to peace

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed Trump's announcement of a plan to end the Gaza conflict.

"It provides a viable pathway to long term and sustainable peace, security and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people, as also for the larger West Asian region," Modi said on X, hoping that all concerned will come together behind Trump's initiative and support the effort to end the conflict and secure peace.

Arab and Muslim nations approve of Trump's proposal

The foreign ministers of Pakistan, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt on Tuesday welcomed the plan and expressed confidence in Trump's ability to help chart a path to peace.

In a joint statement, the ministers said they supported Trump's plan to halt the fighting, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of Palestinians, and block any annexation of the West Bank by Israel.

They also emphasized the importance of their partnership with Washington in securing peace in the region and affirmed their readiness to work constructively with the United States and other parties toward peace and stability.

Australia's leader calls on all parties in the war to help make Trump's plan a reality

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has welcomed the U.S. peace plan for Gaza and urged all parties to make it a reality without delay.

"We commend the plan's focus on Palestinian self-determination and statehood, and the Palestinian Authority taking back effective control of Gaza," Albanese said Tuesday.

"President Trump's plan reflects a clear rejection of annexation and forced displacement of Palestinians," he added. "Australia urges all parties to engage seriously with the plan and to work to bring its vision into reality without delay."

Australia last month joined Britain and Canada in formally recognizing a Palestinian state, prompting an angry response from Israel, which ruled out the prospect.

Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank welcomes Trump's plan

The Palestinian Authority pledged to implement reforms in order to return to Gaza and potentially clear the way for the establishment of a Palestinian state.

"The State of Palestine welcomes the sincere and determined efforts of President Donald J. Trump to end the war on Gaza and affirms its confidence in his ability to find a path toward peace," it said.

"We have affirmed our desire for a modern, democratic, and nonmilitarized Palestinian state, committed to pluralism and the peaceful transfer of power," the statement said and promised reforms, including new elections and ending a system that pays the families of militants involved in attacks on Israelis.

What's in Trump's plan

Trump's 20-point plan for ending the war and establishing a postwar Gaza governance does not require people to leave Gaza and calls for the war to end immediately if both sides accept it.

It also calls for all remaining hostages to be released by Hamas within 72 hours of Israel accepting the plan.

The plan would effectively put the territory and its more than 2 million people under international control, deploying an international security force and installing a "Board of Peace" headed by Trump and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to oversee the administration and reconstruction.

The territory would remain surrounded by Israeli troops. Hamas would have no part in administering Gaza, and all its military infrastructure — including tunnels — would be dismantled.

The international security force would keep order and train Palestinian police to take over law enforcement. Egypt has said it is training thousands of Palestinian police to deploy to Gaza.

Tropical Storm Imelda is strengthening north of the Bahamas and beginning its hard right turn eastward, sparing the US coast from a direct strike. But the storm is still churning up dangerous surf, rip currents, coastal flooding and beach erosion along the Southeast coast. Meanwhile, Bermuda faces a rare one-two punch from Hurricane Humberto and Imelda this week.

Humberto, which briefly exploded into a rare Category 5 storm with 160 mph winds Saturday, is now a large Category 3 hurricane located just a few hundred miles east of Imelda. Humberto's massive size will compound the hazards for US beaches this week, driving deadly rip currents and big waves farther north along the East Coast than Imelda would alone.

Imelda pulled away from the Bahamas Monday evening after lashing the islands with heavy rain, tropical storm-force winds and storm surge for two days.

As of early Tuesday, Imelda had sustained winds of 65 mph and was centered about 200 miles east of Cape Canaveral, Florida, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm is expected reach hurricane strength on Tuesday.

Despite its center staying offshore, Imelda has already proven deadly. A 51-year-old man drowned in Volusia County, Florida, after being swept into the ocean by rip currents, the sheriff's office said. In Cuba, the storm left two dead, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero said. One of those killed was a 60-year-old man who died when his home collapsed in a landslide caused by heavy rain, according to the .

Localized flash flooding is still possible in the coastal Carolinas through Tuesday. Most places across the region can expect up to 2 inches of rain, with localized areas receiving up to 4 inches across southeast North Carolina.

Coastal flooding is also possible from Florida's Space Coast to North Carolina's Outer Banks, where onshore winds could push water 1 to 2 feet above normally dry ground at high tide.

Imelda is about to take a sharp right turn as Humberto yanks the storm eastward away from the shoreline. This anticipated interaction between the two storms is the main reason threats of flooding rain and damaging winds are decreasing for the US compared to concerns over the weekend.

So far this year, the US has avoided a direct hurricane landfall. Tropical Storm Chantal came ashore in South Carolina this July, but no storms have reached the coast at hurricane strength in 2025. If this streak holds, it would be the first season without a hurricane coming ashore in a decade.

Still, this season has been remarkable in another way: every hurricane so far — Erin, Gabrielle and Humberto — has reached major strength, a feat not seen this early since 1935. Major hurricanes are Category 3, 4 and 5 storms. Rapid intensification has become far more common in recent years as the planet warms due to fossil fuel pollution.

Bermuda faces a rare one-two punch

Bermuda is a sitting duck in the path of twin storms this week. Humberto is passing west of the island as a large, powerful hurricane Tuesday, bringing bands of rain, gusty winds and dangerous surf.

On the heels of Humberto, Imelda is expected to track even closer to Bermuda, with potential for a direct landfall and up to 4 inches of rain Wednesday into Thursday. The Bermuda Weather Service issued a hurricane watch for the archipelago Monday afternoon ahead of Imelda.

Two hurricanes in one week could deliver a punishing blow, even for the seasoned and storm-tested islands.

Japan's biggest beer maker Asahi Group says it has suspended orders and shipping services in the country after a cyberattack brought its production operations to a standstill.

Production at some of its 30 domestic factories remained suspended on Tuesday as the company continued to investigate how many plants had been affected, Reuters reported, citing the group's spokesperson.

The company, behind Asahi Super Dry Beer and Nikka Whisky and a raft of non-alcoholic beverages, said it cannot foresee when production will resume, according to the news agency.

The attack first came to light on Monday, when Asahi released a statement saying its order and shipment operations at its Japan-based companies had been suspended, alongside its call center services, "due to the system failure."

The group has not elaborated on the possibly identity of the attacker but said the cyberattack had not led to leakage of customer data

"We are actively investigating the cause and working to restore operations," the company said in a statement Monday, adding that there was no estimated timeline for recovery. CNN has reached out to Asahi for comment.

Asahi – which means "morning sun" in Japanese – was founded in 1889, with founder Komakichi Torii bottling the first Asahi Draft Beer in in Japan in 1900.

It has grown to become one of the world's largest drinks companies and owns international brands including Peroni, London Pride and Grolsch and several non-alcoholic beverage brands.

Tyreek Hill's season for the Miami Dolphins potentially came to a sudden end on Monday night, when the standout wide receiver's left knee became badly twisted shortly after he made a catch near the sideline.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Hill was diagnosed with a dislocated knee. Hill was to remain hospitalized overnight, McDaniel said.

An air cast was placed over his leg before Hill — cheering and clapping, acknowledging the cheers of fans — was taken off the field on a cart. He was then taken to a nearby hospital, the Dolphins said, "for imaging, evaluation and observation" of the knee injury.

"He was probably in the best spirits of any player that I've ever seen (have) such a terrible experience," McDaniel said. "He immediately had wide eyes and was talking, 'I'm good, just make sure the guys get this win.' He was focused on the team."

The Dolphins expected to learn more details on Tuesday, McDaniel said.

Hill's leg was bent at an ugly angle when medical personnel — who were at his side in a matter of a few seconds — got to him.

Hill was hurt when he made a catch and got tackled near the New York Jets' sideline with 13:21 left in the third quarter. He was running toward the sideline and planted his left foot, and his knee appeared to twist severely as he was getting pulled down.

Players from both teams took a knee at various spots on the field while Hill was tended to, and the cart was immediately summoned. Players gathered briefly around the cart before it was driven across the field and into the tunnel leading to the Dolphins' locker room.

The laughing and joking from Hill started even before he was carted off, McDaniel said, and he said Hill's reaction helped calm the Dolphins — who went on to beat the Jets 27-21 for their first win in four games this season.

"That's just his personality. That's just who he is," quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said. "Our thoughts and our prayers are with him."

There was immediate reaction from around the league, including a simple thought from Kansas City quarterback and Hill's former teammate, Patrick Mahomes.

"Prayers up man….." Mahomes posted on X shortly after the injury.

Hill, a five-time All-Pro selection and a Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs in the 2019 season, had matched a season high for catches with six when he got hurt.

Hill has 11,363 receiving yards since entering the NFL in 2017, the most in the league over that span. He also has 819 catches, fourth most in the league since 2017 behind only Davante Adams (886), Travis Kelce (880) and Stefon Diggs (824).

Hill's 83 touchdown catches are third most in the NFL since 2017. Adams has 102 scoring catches and Mike Evans has 91.

"It's part of the game. It's a sad reality we live," defensive lineman Zach Sieler said. "You have to play every last play like it's your last."

The 31-year-old Hill in his 10th NFL season and fourth with the Dolphins. He led the league with 1,799 receiving yards in 2023 — but has seen some rocky moments in his Miami tenure, including pulling himself from last season's finale and later indicating he wanted to play elsewhere.

That led to Hill having to rebuild some relationships with teammates, and the result of that work was even on display in the moments immediately after he got hurt, McDaniel said.

"We've talked a lot about all the stuff that Tyreek has done this offseason and a big portion is to lead by example and connecting with his teammates," McDaniel said. "He kind of utilized that connectivity to make sure that his team was finishing on the right end. He was inspiring in that situation, and I think his teammates benefited from that."

Sauce Gardner says he's being targeted by the officials.

Gardner, following the New York Jets' 27-21 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Monday night, lit up the referees for what he felt were biased calls against him and his teammates. Most notably, the cornerback was called for a big pass interference penalty in the third quarter of Monday's contest at Hard Rock Stadium, which helped set up a Dolphins touchdown.

But it's not an issue with Gardner, one of the better cornerbacks in the league, specifically. He says he thinks he and the Jets are getting called for more penalties because they keep losing games.

"I'm personally frustrated," Gardner said. "I feel like me personally, us not winning, I watch football all the time and I just feel like — I don't know if this is wrong to say — but I think I get called for more stuff just based off of us just not winning.

"I watch these winning programs and there's some egregious things and it don't get called, letting the players play."

Sauce Gardner says he feels like he gets called for more penalties based on the Jets not winning:"I watch these winning programs, and it'll be some egregious things and it don't get called" pic.twitter.com/1HivaThgBq

— Jets Videos (@snyjets) September 30, 2025

Those comments are sure to lead to a fine from the NFL in the coming days.

Gardner, who is the highest-paid cornerback in the league, struggled Monday night. Outside of the pass interference call that helped lead to a Dolphins touchdown, Gardner allowed tight end Darren Waller to catch a touchdown on fourth down early in the second quarter. That score, which put Miami up 10-0 at the time, was Waller's first since 2023.

In total, the Jets were called for 13 penalties worth 101 yards Monday night. They had three turnovers and allowed De'Von Achane to run for 99 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. The Dolphins, now 1-3, also lost Tyreek Hill to a brutal knee injury in the game.

[Yahoo Sports TV is here! Watch live shows and highlights 24/7]

Justin Fields went 20-of-27 passing for 226 yards with a touchdown. He also led the team on the ground with 81 rushing yards and a score on seven carries. Breece Hall had 81 yards on 14 carries, and Garrett Wilson had 82 yards and a touchdown on six catches.

Gardner had two total tackles in the loss. He's up to 12 this season, his fourth in the league.

While it's hard to know how real Gardner's officiating claims are, he is right about one thing: The Jets aren't winning. They are now 0-4 on the season, making them one of just three winless teams still in the league. The Jets haven't made the playoffs since 2010, and they have only a single winning season since then. They hold just a 36-48 record since the start of the 2018 season, too, which is the worst record in the league in that span.

Winning games may not get them calls. But it certainly would make Gardner feel better.

"We don't win, and I feel like we don't get the calls that we should get, and we do get called for calls that we probably shouldn't get called for," Gardner said. "Obviously that's not the only reason I want to win. I want to win because I don't like losing."
