Emma Chamberlain dons Mugler micro minidress for Fashion Trust U.S. Awards

Emma Chamberlain wore a structured taupe coloured Mugler mini dress that blended sharp tailoring with bold proportions. The design featured exaggerated shoulders and long sleeves, creating a powerful silhouette that contrasted with the extra-short hemline. A sleek high neckline and fitted bodice emphasized the dress’ precise construction. A visible diagonal seam detail across the front added subtle architectural intrigue.

The dress cinched at her waist before flaring slightly at the hips, highlighting Mugler’s iconic hourglass tailoring. The clean lines and structured shape gave the outfit a futuristic feel while maintaining a minimal palette.

The influencer and podcast host paired the micro mini dress with sheer black tights and pointed-toe black pumps. This kept the styling simple, letting the dress remain the focal point. For accessories, she wore two delicate silver hoop earrings in each ear. A big one in the first piercing and a smaller one in the second. They added a subtle touch of shine to the neutral color palette. Her look complemented the modern silhouette. Chamberlain debuted a short platinum pixie haircut with a textured finish. Soft glam makeup, defined eyes, and neutral lips completed her appearance.

The look stood out against the event’s pink carpet backdrop, where fashion insiders, celebrities, and industry leaders gathered to celebrate emerging talent. The Fashion Trust U.S. Awards honor and financially support rising American designers, providing grants and mentorship opportunities to help the next generation of fashion creatives.

With its sculptural tailoring and bold proportions, Emma Chamberlain’s Mugler micro mini proved that minimalism can make just as powerful a statement as a dramatic red-carpet gown.

Prince HarryandMeghan Markleare once again making headlines, this time over their upcoming polo-themed series. The project was initially expected to spotlight elite sport and high society, but new rumors suggest a more dramatic tone. According to insiders, the series may lean into intense rivalries and emotional dynamics that go beyond the field. Now, these claims are generating curiosity about the couple’s evolving creative direction.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly aiming something different, claims source

According to insider claims, theSussexesare taking a noticeably different approach to their latest Netflix project. Rather than focusing on prestige storytelling, a source alleged the couple is now prioritizing content designed to generate buzz and broader audience appeal. “This is a huge shift,” the insider reportedly told “Naughty But Nice,” suggesting the project is “bold” and geared more toward attention than accolades.

The “ultra-exclusive” polo show is said to explore more than just the sport itself. Sources allege it will highlight personal rivalries, power dynamics, and relationships within that environment. One claim suggests the narrative leans into “intense competition — on and off the field,” where conflicts may evolve into more emotionally charged connections.

Another source described the tone as having a “raw, provocative edge,” though this remains speculation. According to the claim, the narrative may lean into themes where ambition, status, and personal connections intersect in dramatic ways. This has fueled rumors that the series could include undertones of “sexual tension.” “This is Harry and Meghan 2.0,” the insider added. “Less prestige, more pulse. Less awards, more heat — and a lot more cash.”

The reported shift comes as the couple continues to expand their content slate. Their previous Netflix projects, including “Harry & Meghan” and “With Love, Meghan,” have drawnmixed reactions. Insiders now claim this new series is part of a broader effort to create more conversation-driven content. “The goal now is attention… and conversation,” the source alleged.

10 one-hit wonders only real Gen Xers remember

One-hit wonders get a bad reputation they do not always deserve. The assumption is that a single chart peak means a fluke, a novelty, a band that stumbled onto something and never understood it. But some of the most perfectly formed pop songs in history came from artists who only connected once, and that one connection was enough to outlast entire careers.

MediaFeed

10 one-hit wonders only real Gen Xers remember

That is especially true of the 1980s, a decade that produced an almost supernatural volume of memorable singles from bands whose second song no one could name. The era of MTV, mixtapes, and FM radio rewarded hooks above everything else, and some artists delivered one hook so perfectly constructed it still plays in your head forty years later, unbidden and unstoppable.

These are ten songs that owned a moment and then disappeared. Every Gen Xer with a radio knows them.

Whip It — Devo (1980)

Red flower-pot hats, robotic choreography, synth-pop that sounded like nothing else.Devohad a cult following and a long career, but in the US mainstream, Whip It was the whole story. It peaked at number 14 and never left.

Turning Japanese — The Vapors (1980)

A post-punk guitar hook so instantly recognizable it barely needed a chorus. The Vaporsdissolved shortly after it peaked. The song has appeared in films, ads, and television ever since.

Mickey — Toni Basil (1982)

A cheerleader routine set to an arena-sized chant.Toni Basilwas already 38 when it hit number one. She had a distinguished background in choreography. The follow-up singles went nowhere.

The Safety Dance — Men Without Hats (1982)

An inexplicably catchy synth-pop hook and a message that seemed to be about dancing but may or may not have been about nuclear war.Men Without Hatsnever charted in the US again.

Too Shy — Kajagoogoo (1983)

The hair was a genre in itself.Kajagoogoofired lead singer Limahl shortly after the song topped the UK charts, only to discover they could not chart without him.

Der Komissar — After the Fire (1983)

Falco had the German-language hit first, but this English-language coverAfter the Firecovered it, and that version conquered American radio. The band broke up the following year. No other single came close.

Somebody’s Watching Me — Rockwell (1984)

The paranoid synth groove was irresistible, and Michael Jackson’s cameo on the chorus helped considerably.Rockwellwas the son of Motown founder Berry Gordy, reportedly hidden from label executives. The follow-ups disappeared.

Sunglasses at Night — Corey Hart (1984)

A synth riff built on a single absurd premise that lodged permanently in the brain.Corey Harthad modest success in Canada for years but never cracked the American top 40 again.

Major Tom (Coming Home) — Peter Schilling (1983)

A synth-pop sequel to Bowie’s Space Oddity, sung partly in German, that somehow became a US top-15 hit.Peter Schillingcontinued recording in Europe but never returned to the American charts.

Puttin’ on the Ritz — Taco (1983)

A 1930 big-band standard resurrected as a synth-pop novelty by a Dutch-Indonesian singer in white tie and tails.Tacopeaked at number four and then vanished. The Metropolis-inspired video was one of early MTV’s most-played clips.

Wrap up

The 1980s had no shortage of great bands with long careers. But the one-hit wonders may have understood something the survivors did not. Sometimes one perfect moment is more than enough.
