Adam Scott and Patricia Arquette appeared on the Lovett or Leave It podcast to talk about their Emmy-nominated TV show. When asked if they ever felt the desire to tease the director about his shift from comedy to drama, Scott said yes.

The Parks and Rec actor shared that he gave Stiller an "alter ego" while on set. Scott calls him "Bendo" and describes him as the onset photographer who is "always getting in people's eyelines."

Scott said Bendo "prances around with his film camera" taking photos of the cast and crew. The Meet the Fockers star has shared some of his snapshots on social media.

"It's like, 'What are you doing?'" Scott joked. "You know what, the photos are beautiful. They really are. But Bendo takes them, not Ben."

Severance is nominated for a whopping 27 Emmys this year, the most of any other show. For all the teasing, Stiller has snagged a nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for his work on the season 2 finale.

It appears that Bendo will not make an appearance next season. Stiller is reportedly not directing on Severance season 3, according to the Los Angeles Times. Instead, he has been helping showrunner Dan Erickson with planning, so that he is able to step away to work on other projects.

In addition to the latest Meet the Parents installment, Stiller told the Los Angeles Times that he is working on a World War II feature for next spring.
