Scarlett Johansson revealed the most "outrageous" gift she's ever given her daughter.

In an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE, ahead of the new episode of Busy Philipps' Busy This Week podcast, the Black Widow actress, 40, shared that she once gifted her daughter Rose, 11, whom she welcomed with ex Romain Dauriac, a custom Marie Antoinette gown when she was around 8 years old.

"My daughter ... asked for a Marie Antoinette gown," she begins, saying that she turned to Etsy to find the perfect vendor for the gift. "And this woman, who was an amazing dressmaker who made all the costumes for all these operas in Ukraine, made a two-measure full opera like Marie Antoinette dress with a hoop skirt and corset for my daughter."

"It was outrageous," she says. "You can let it [out] so that she'll wear it over [the] years and she still puts it on and she looks so cute."

Asked if Rose wore it for Halloween, the doting mom replied that her daughter has never done that. However, Johansson did share the important occasion where her daughter decided to wear the dress.

"She actually wore it to my wedding, which was really spectacular," she says. "She had like her little dress on, then she was like, 'Change me now.' And I was like, in the middle of the wedding, I'm like, 'We'll be right back. We have a costume change for Rose.'"

While Johansson refrains from sharing photos of her young children, she often opens up about her life at home in interviews. The actress, who's also a mother to son Cosmo, 4, with husband Colin Jost, shared on the Tuesday, Jan. 21 episode of Today with Jenna and Friends that she recently introduced her daughter Rose to the concept of "ghosting."

The guest co-host said she had a conversation with Rose when her daughter shared that she stopped talking to a boy who liked her.

"I just had this conversation with my 10-year-old daughter about ghosting because there was this little boy that liked her, and then she wasn't feeling the same," she began. "She just stopped talking to him straight up and he felt terrible. And I was telling her, I introduced the ghosting concept."

"It really makes the other person feel terrible about themselves. It kind of sets them on this spiral," she added, before admitting that she's ghosted people when she was dating. "I hate confrontation."

The Lucy actress noted that she'd rather be dumped, whether in-person or over the phone because the act of ghosting someone is "awful." She said it leaves the other person without closure.

"Honestly being ghosted is awful because you're just left with no answers at all and you're thinking, 'Oh my god, did I do something?' " she said. "It haunts you for years."

While speaking with E! News at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, the Avengers star revealed that she's in the thick of back-to-school season. Johansson told the outlet that she "was not prepared" to get back into the swing of things and that it's been a "very busy time."

"My daughter's school started the day after Labor Day, which I think is rude actually and so I'm calling out her school. It's rude," she joked. "You started the day after Labor Day. I was not prepared."

She added, "It's been a very, very busy time, but it's incredibly exciting to be here at TIFF.
