Former NFL Punter Chris Kluwe Arrested at Calif. City Council Meeting After Calling MAGA a Nazi Movement
Retired NFL punter Chris Kluwe was arrested after he voiced his concerns about MAGA while at a city council meeting in California on Tuesday. The former Minnesota Vikings player, 43, took to the podium at a Huntington Beach City Council meeting to push back against a proposed plaque for a local library that would bear the acronym "MAGA," which he called a "Nazi movement." After saying that residents in the city were in favor of a plaque to celebrate a local library, Kluwe claimed that the "vast, vast majority" were against having the GOP slogan on it.
